Candice Brew loves story-telling and finding new ways to do so.
This began with an interest in journalism. She spent her senior year of high school juggling the duties of a style editor for the school's newspaper and community editor for the yearbook.
She took those blossoming interests to the University of Missouri, home of the nation's first and top journalism program, where she immediately dived into a fashion column for College Gloss and eventually earned a spot as a reporter for the Columbia Missourian and Vox magazine.
Between time, she developed an interest in strategic communication. She nurtured this interest in a variety of ways: spearheading a fashion show/launch party for College Gloss, interning for ALIVE magazine's Marketing & Events department, becoming the Director of Marketing for a campus organization and interning at The Hive Showroom in New York City.
As a strategic communication student, Brew developed research and analytical skills that are essential to reaching big ideas and running successful campaigns; and as a magazine editing student, she was honored several national and regional journalism awards.
When she's not working, she enjoys visiting art and history exhibitions, soaking in the authentic vibes at poetry slams and finding cultural inspiration in the city she happens to be in.
Brew graduated in May of 2016 and will be interning with PR agency Fleishman-Hillard starting in September of 2016. She can't wait to be a part of the ever-evolving world of media, communication and creativity.
